Review: GODEMICHE Adam UV Dildo

  • 100% Platinum Silicone
  • Insertable Length: 6 inches Max. Circumference: 6 inches

It’s not everyday you stumble across a brand new UK based, artisanal silicone dildo maker’s wares, but this is exactly what happened to me the other week at the Birmingham Alternative & Burlesque Fair.

I was chatting with some friends when I spotted these absolutely stunning, bright and colourful dildos lined up at the back of OhLaLa Shop‘s stall and had to stop the conversation to make a beeline straight for them.

That may sound a little obsessive of me, but there is such a ridiculous lack of interestingly coloured, good quality and well priced silicone dildos in this country. Even Tantus toys aren’t as readily available as I’d like, and you’d be hard pressed to find one for sale for under £30, plus UK retailers only stock the ‘standard’ Tantus colours. When the stall holder told me the price of the Adam dildos I nearly bit his hand off! £25 – whaaaaaaat?! I snagged a yellow/green and blue Adam but there are loads of other colours available (including glow in the dark!).

So… having got to know the toy a little better, what do I think of it?

The GODEMICHE Adam is an absolutely gorgeous specimen. Nice and girthy with a MASSIVE, realistically modelled bulbous head, complete with urethral slit, prominent coronal ridge and frenulum plus a secondary foreskin wrinkle. The shaft is straight with absolutely no texture. It’s shape and proportions remind me of a more realistic Tantus Duke – I think it’s really sexy. The colours are extremely vivid (the pigment is embedded in the silicone not painted on, for those who are wary) and apparently glow under UV light!

The finish of the silicone is matte (with a hint of shine) and fairly smooth. It reminds me a little bit of Fun Factory’s silicone in that there are a few small patches that feel a little rougher than the rest. Mine also has what appears to be a very faint finger/thumb print on the head but no other flaws on the usable portion of the toy. There are a few air bubbles on the bottom of the base. When I bought my Adam I didn’t know the brand name, only that it was handmade/poured, so I did a flame test (just to be sure) which it passed with flying colours (tiny bit of grey ash, no permanent marks, melting or other damage to the material). It also survived being boiled prior to use as any platinum cured silicone toy should.

When it comes to non-vibrating insertable toys I like either a good, steep curve or a lot of girth. The Adam’s shaft may be completely straight, but oh boy, it’s one girthy sonofabitch. The silicone is very firm – think the same level of squish (or lack of) as the Tantus Vamp and Echo. Owing to this, I find inserting the Adam (vaginally) a little uncomfortable at first. The coronal ridge and foreskin ridge sometimes produce a weird pinching sensation as the head pops past my pubic bone which really isn’t the nicest feeling. But once it’s in, you KNOW it’s in. The GODEMICHE Adam is the firmest ‘large’ toy I own, the others I own that have a similar girth being the Tantus Cush O2, Vixen Buck and Fun Factory Big Boss G5, and I definitely think it’s the most intense of the four.

I don’t get any direct G-spot stimulation from the head as its slopes to far downward when I use it ‘missionary style’, neither do I get a lot from it when I insert the toy ‘upside down’. I also do not/cannot thrust properly with it – it’s just too much for my vag to handle. What’s good about this dildo then? Well, the Adam is what a crude little voice in my head likes to call a ‘cunt stuffer’. My favourite thing to do with it is just shove it in all the way, keep it still (or just tap the base rhythmically) and squeeze. The Adam is the perfect length for me to insert fully and I also enjoy how the large flared base brushes against my vulva and perineum.

I can’t orgasm using just the Adam like this, but when I use it along side a good clit vibe (the We-Vibe Touch or Tango), my orgasms are a lot more intense. Like, a lot more intense. I’ve noticed that having something so thick and hard to ‘hold onto’ as my muscles contract/do their best impression of a boa constrictor prolongs my orgasm for a number of seconds longer than normal which is obviously AWESOME.

I was very pleased to find that in practice I like this dildo just as much as I fancy its stunning good looks! The Adam is certainly not for the faint of vagina (or anus… though I don’t think you’ll catch me trying it that way any time soon!) and it’s girth and firmness will not be for everyone. If you know you prefer more average sized cocks and more squishy silicone then you’re probably better off giving Adam a miss and waiting to see what GODEMICHE come up with next. I’d love to see a dual density Adam… just sayin’.

Dual Density is on our list to do so keep an eye on it. We are keen to hear that our dildos can be affordable and pretty but still functional. Maybe we will call our next design – cunt stuffer:) lol That would be interesting:)
Thank you for your kind words and we are happy to hear so much positivity.
